Good morning all,
On this day, 11 November, in 1918, while some people were using Monc Blanc and DuPont fountain pens to sign real important documents involving ending the hostilities, ...
some people were planning for the Part II episode of the Great War.
...
Today, I will participate in a veterans' program near here. I will try to keep my demeaner and proper civilized attitude because, as usual, I'll meet many people who will engage me in conversation about the pins on my hat. ("My brother was...", "My uncle did...", "I always wanted to...")
There are those who do stuff and those who talk about stuff.
...
I did not forget to check on that new insigna/patch store near Ft Eustis. My inquiry of last week was negative. Will see some people today who might know about the place.
...
Happy Veterans Day !
Warm regards,
Bob
