Has nothing to do with the Cold War, but no less interesting: Dutch, English, German, Belgian and Czech "US 7th armored Division" re-enactors together on the move in the south of the Netherlands. 7thonthemove.webklik.nl/page/7th-on-the-moveThis site is from the English re-enactment group. It was a major event, I was there as a post-war (Cold War) Dutch Military Police re-enactor, of course, around the camp. And this is the site of the Dutch group. www.luckyseventh.nl/And more great photos and videos can be found here: www.fotoalbertoverloon.nl/Scroll down until you see a picture of a Sherman tank, and click on the picture. At the bottom of the photopage you can click on the movie. When the movie is over you can view more movies about "7th on the move" . Greetzz, Tony

Good morning Tony,
Most appreciative re this material.
Long ago - and for the obvious reasons of typical life spans - would attend various veterans' meetings and the 7th A.D. patch would be present.
....even remember a guy who carried the .45 Thompson submachine gun and told me about the "felt patch" in the action section.
Keep up the historical efforts !
Warm regards,
Bob
