Membership in the AFCWA is open to:
* All U.S. service personnel from 1945-1991.
* All U.S. governmental (defence) civilians, 1945-1991.
* All U.S. Nuclear (Atomic) civilian workers, 1945-1991.
* All NATO & SEATO member nations, 1945-1991.
* IDF veterans, 1946-1991.
* Rhodesian veterans, 1965-1980.
* All U.S. service personnel from 1945-1991.
* All U.S. governmental (defence) civilians, 1945-1991.
* All U.S. Nuclear (Atomic) civilian workers, 1945-1991.
* All NATO & SEATO member nations, 1945-1991.
* IDF veterans, 1946-1991.
* Rhodesian veterans, 1965-1980.
