Allied Forces Cold War (1945-1991) Association (AFCWA) We Served in Defence of Freedom 5909 Fairdale #3 * Houston Texas 77057 AFCWA "FREEDOM TO VOTE" PROJECT "Your freedom to vote was paid for by the lives of our veterans" The AFCWA is proud to sponsor the "Freedom to Vote" Project this year in the lead up to the November 4 elections. Our objective is to get registered voters to the polls by emphasizing that the freedom to vote was purchased by the lives of our veterans. AFCWA members and our VFW / American Legion veterans will stand out front during the Democratic and Republican primaries with large signs with bold lettering: We Served So that you can Vote VOTE TODAY! This is to remind a weary but lazy American public that the VERY FREEDOM they have to vote, was bought and paid for them by ALL VETERANS, including members of the Allied Forces Cold War Veterans Association (AFCWA). I will be working closely with veterans here in Houston. Our objective will be to form a line of veterans down Westheimer Boulevard on the morning of November 4th for the press to see and for all morning drivers as they head to work. Remember: The freedom ALL Americans have was purchased not by the ACLU, the press or those politicians who were 4F during the Vietnam War - it was purchased by the blood of our veterans who served. Regards, Mick Stewart President, AFCWA Post #1 Houston Texas
